Happy New Year to you all! We’re kicking off 2016 with a look at which cars were seen the most by the UK’s workshops last year…
Autodata has published a list of the most common vehicles taken into independent garages during 2015, with the Ford Focus coming out on top.
The hatchback from Ford started production in 1998 and there are now over 1.46 million of them driving around on the UK’s roads.
The Top 5 were as follows:
1. Ford Focus
2. Volkswagen Golf
3. BMW 3 Series
4. Renault Clio
5. Peugeot 206
Other notable inclusions in the ‘Top 20’ are the Nissan Qashqai – which was the first Nissan since the Sunny to make the UK’s top 10 fastest selling car list in 2010 – and the Volkswagen Touran, which was the first production vehicle in the VW Group to be released with Park Assist technology.
